I have been doing business with Nelson Leather since 1970. I have known Ben Nelson all that time. Ben is a master craftsman and he has taught his daughter, her husband and their staff to be master leather crafters too.
There is no better leather products made on planet earth!!!!!!! They guaranty what they sell and their word is golden.

I have always found your holsters to be of the best quality. That includes the "flaming ass____" that was NOT made for me. I enjoyed it immensely however. I am in the need for leather for a FNP45 finished in all black. Which do you think would be the best I am fond of the oputside the belt with the cutdown front to facilitate the draw but would appreciate your opinion. Many Thanks,

After an extended search for a holster to fit a Taurus 94 (.22 Caliber) with 5 inch barrel and the ability to have it function as both strong side and cross-draw, the #392 Dual Carry I received this week is absolutely perfect and flawlessly made. Thank you for the great product at a reasonable price! |

While looking for a IWB holster for my Firestar on the internet I stumbled across the Guns and Shooting Online 2009-2010 Awards for the Handgun Accessory of the Year, the A.E. Nelson Summer Special, was I lucky. Although I never heard of, saw or handled an A. E. Nelson holster before, I ordered a Summer Special. After a very short wait the holster arrived and what a beauty it was. It is very well made with quality leather and workmanship and functions superbly. The leather strap pivots about its “one-way” snap to allow for some angle adjustment within one’s waistband, for both comfort and concealability in three carry positions. The only question now is when do I replace and retire my other ‘Summer Special” holsters I have for my other handguns with a much more functional A. E. Nelson holster.

I am a police patrol sergeant and have used A.E. Nelson products for years. They stand up to the rigors of my job better than the rest. I recommend them above all others. |

When it came time to get rid of the nylon duty gear, (the nylon became frayed and the "cardboard" backing started showing through, and it just started looking dirty) I was looking for something that would last, so I settled on "real" leather. I was really happy with the quality duty gear Nelson Leather is producing. Great workmenship, which is hard to find in today's mass produced products. All of their leather gear is handmade by great craftsmen who take pride in producing a quality product. Like everyone else who has done business with Nelson Leather, I was surprised with the wonderful customer service. Nelson Leather is a great company to do business with. |

Absolutely top notch products and unbelievable customer service. I would recommend to anyone! I purchased a quad and a double open top mag carrier and I love them. I have a box full of leather gear that I purchased from other companies and do not like. A.E. Nelson gear will never go in that box. This will be my first and last stop for my duty and concealable leather gear.

I received the quad magazine pouch the other day. The workmanship and quality appear to be top notch. I had been using a quad pouch made by Blade Tech. The Blade Tech product is junk. Any police officer who reads this who is shopping for a quad pistol magazine pouch, the A.E. Nelson product is the way to go. Do not even consider the Blade Tech product as it far to fragile for duty use. It literally falls apart. Sgt. J. Schmitz #730 MPPD |
